Girls weightlifting place 8th at Regionals

Girls weightlifting take 8th place at Regionals out of 16 teams.  The girls weightlifting team is very young.  Freshmen Sundos place 6th, sophomore Jada placed 4th, Jamaryiah senior placed 6th, and sophomore Alexis placed 6th.

This week has had some great Highlights.  Both Basketball teams hosted their Senior Night (the Last home regular season game). Jones High Girls Weightlifting participated in the district meet with 9 other schools.  Jones was the smallest team present still placing 4th overall with 3 of them taking home hardware:  Hiliy Dujon taking first in the 154 weight class,  Jada Thomas placing 2nd in the 199 weight class, and Hayle Dujon placing 2nd in the 169

Girls Weightlifting Take top 6 at Metros

The Lady Tigers traveled to Evan’s today to participate in west Metro Championship.  Three of our ladies placed top 6 in their weight class.
