Boys Basketball Headed to District Championship

  Tonight Jones High had another night of excitement with the Boys Basketball team winning their semi-final game vs Vanguard 62-49.  The Tigers travel back to Belleview High School to play Leesburg in the District Championship game Friday night.

Lady Tigers Basketball 5A District Champs

Tonight the Lady Tigers became 2019-2020 district champs by pulling off a great win against Lake Minneola Hawks with a final score of 49-42. The last district championship was won in 2017. Jones Tigers jumped out with a great start to take a 6-1 lead in the first quarter.

Another exciting week for JHS Athletics.  As the winter season comes to a end our programs are participating in culminating events like Metro Championships and playoffs. Girls weightlifting take 8th place at Regionals out of 16 teams.  The girls weightlifting team is very young.  Freshmen Sundos place 6th, sophomore Jada placed 4th, Jamaryiah senior placed 6th, and sophomore Alexis placed 6th.
