Boys Basketball defeats Colonial

  Great win to start the season for Fightin’ Tigers at the Metro Hoopfest. Shelton Taylor led the way with 15pts and 10 rebs. Zavier Avera had 12ptsf and 11 rebs.  Your Tigers are back in action tomorrow at 12pm versus Dr. Phillips

The Tigers came out the first quarter on fire out scoring their opponent, Leesburg High School, 9 to 0 the first quarter. Boys Basketball Headed to District Championship

  Tonight Jones High had another night of excitement with the Boys Basketball team winning their semi-final game vs Vanguard 62-49.  The Tigers travel back to Belleview High School to play Leesburg in the District Championship game Friday night.

This Week in Sports! Feb. 3-7, 2020

Another exciting week for JHS Athletics.  As the winter season comes to a end our programs are participating in culminating events like Metro Championships and playoffs. Tigers Sweep Pioneers!

The fans started rolling in, with excitement, at 4:00pm anticipating the freshmen game and they were not disappointed.  The Freshmen game kept the fans on the edge of their seat to the very end.  Led by Coach Dale Williams the Freshmen won with a final score of  43-41. Orlando Jones finishes 2nd place in the Kingdom of The Sun championship match-up against Georgia’s Columbia High School.

JHS Boys Basketball Advance!

Jones High Schools Boys Basketball advances to the final four at the Kingdom of the Sun Classic in Ocala, Fl. Defeating Lake Highland Prep 63-59.  Going to play in the semifinals tomorrow night (12/28) at 9pm.
